Clearly things have changed and clean air has never been more important. The best hospital grade air purifier technology is now available in portable form throughout the UK and Ireland to all businesses, education or healthcare environments and public authorities. This patented technology has been in use by Scandinavian hospitals for over ten years and has had its effectiveness independently tested.
Using both UVC light and HEPA13 filters - the Rensair air purification system was originally designed to be used in hospitals but is now being used to remove and kill >99.97% of bacteria and viruses in a range of locations;
The Rensair air purifier not only captures, but also inactivates (kills), airborne bacteria and viruses with efficiency of >99.97% including the coronavirus family (it is also effective against pollen, allergens, moulds, yeasts, and odours)
Other systems that use just HEPA filters merely collect the virus in the filter which can potentially be a hazard (read the report here).
The Rensair is the only system available that;
This has been efficiency tested by Eurofins, Norconsult and Oslo University Hospital - see full info here
The Rensair air purifier system is effective and really easy to use;
So, first of all - how does this air purifier work and what makes it the best?
Rensair’s unique composition of the technology makes the difference. The position of the UVC light directed on the filter surface puts trapped pollutants under constant exposure. This exposure breaks down the DNA and RNA hence destroying all trapped pollutants.
Destruction on the filter surface further reduces the potential for contact with hazardous material during filter change.
The Rensair air purifier destroys viruses and bacteria while most conventional air purifiers simply collect and trap. The patented solution uses the most advanced purification technology, but what makes the difference is it’s unique composition:
1 Rensair takes in surrounding air from the top and it travels through a pre-filter, trapping larger particles and dust. The pre-filter is easy to remove from the top of the Rensair air purifier to clean and will not have to be changed.
2 A powerful fan (up to 560 m³/hour, 20,000 ft³/hour, 155 litre/second) pushes the air into a cylinder-shaped HEPA 13 filter below. The fan is a key component of the Rensair design. An extremely high static air pressure is created in the cylinder due to the high quality of the HEPA filter, and hence a strong fan is necessary.
3 As particles hit the inside surface of the HEPA 13 filter, bacteria, viruses and other airborne microorganisms are stopped. The continued air flow keeps the microorganisms stuck on the filter surface while the UVC lamp, placed in the centre of the cylinder, continuously illuminates the entire filter surface, thereby “disinfecting” the surface by destroying the DNA in bacteria, viruses, etc.
Destruction on the filter surface further reduces the potential for contact with hazardous material during filter change.
4 A large volume of clean air leaves the Rensair at 360 degrees.
Is this right for my business?
One of the main advantages of Rensair is its portable and compact design, which makes it a suitable solution for almost any business.
We recommend using one Rensair for every 120m² (1,250ft²) of space if you are running it at lowest capacity (low noise at 50dB). Or for every 210m² (2,200ft²) if your space can handle more white noise (67dB) e.g. in places with background music.
Rensair can work in parallel to an existing HVAC system, and won’t interfere with the airflow. In fact, an existing HVAC system can increase the room airflow and help Rensair get to it faster.

There are three fan speed settings: High setting = 560m3 per hour (68 decibels) Low setting = 300m3 per hour (50 decibels) .Depending on the ceiling height, we can calculate the m2 coverage.
